Default GW:EN questions

I've read through much of the information out there regarding GW:EN, but in the off chance I missed something, I figured I'd ask a few questions regarding it.

First of all Guild Wars: Eye of the North or GW:EN = GWEN. Is this a coincidence, or is the game going to revolve a story around the missing and ever elusive, gwen? It would be cool if Gwen turned out to be one of the new heroes or some other useful purpose. I havent read anything that suggests this is the case though.

Now, I have one character who is level 14 in presearing. I would like some feedback as to if I should keep my character in pre until the expn releases or if I wont be missing anything if I finally move her to post so I can actually play her. Will there be any legit way to get to 20 in pre without death leveling? That is why she is 14, but I now know I have no time or patience to death level so I've been conteplating leaving pre. I'd just like to know if anyone has read something I may have missed regarding expansion of pre.

Will there be more character slots given and more character creation options with the expn? I would like to start a new character in pre in case I need to obtain tapestries again of which I've long since deleted for storage room. Most of my current characters are level 20 and the rest are in their teens, so I dont want to delete my current charaters or have to buy a new character slot.

Anyway, thats all I can think of at the moment that I'm most curious about. Thanks for any responses

Pretty much, everyone thinks it will about Gwen. I am one of them.

Honestly, I have no idea. I recently deleted my level 15 Mesmer who was going for LDoA because of the lack of Hard Mode. I believe Pre-Searing will get a mini update.

I do not know about character slots. My guess is that there will be at least one.

I don't think any of these questions should be asked until it comes out. I am pretty sure ANet doesn't release a game to random people, without announcing it, and none of those people tell anyone.

Most information is in PC Gamer.

- Gwen has been seen in previews of the game (well, a girl that is hinted to being Gwen). Revolve around her, prolly not. Include her, prolly.
- It's an expansion to all 3 games, so don't expect anything in particular to happen to presearing. I'd get the tapestry shred, just in case though.
- More slots, most likely. No reason why we shouldn't get another 2.

It's not an stand-alone campaign, like Factions or Nightfall, which both introduced 2 new proffesions (hence the 2 additional slots). GW:EN being an expansion, there is no reason why we should get +2 slots. Additional can always be purchased at the online shop.

Untill we get more information from ArenaNet, all speculation remains...speculation

I believe Gaile did say in a recent chat that there would be no new slots for GW:EN.

You are at the same point as the rest of us. We would all like to have answers to those questions and many more.

We have read all the interviews and articles, the obscure hints in Gaile's and other dev posts and still we have no definite info to offer.

I am not surprised as this has always been ArenaNet's modus operandi. As they constantly change things in the game, they will not restrict themselves with early comments about more than the general overview.

1. Gwen? Appearance is indicated, but no info on role.

2. No info on pre-searing.

3. No definite info on character slots, pre-release bonus, CE editions or preview weekend. There will be NO new professions as this is an expansioin; so really no need for new slots.

So far there isn't enough information to say for sure, so all conjecture is pure speculation.

I would like to think there is some relation between Gwen and GW:EN. Its extremely likely the GW marketing team chose that name so we would all be thinking about it, and sure enough we are. I doubt after such a decision, Gwen would be omitted from the expansion.

Gaile explictly says no included slots. (it's toward the end)
